I offer tutoring for pupils studying Geography at GCSE and A Level from any examination board.
These are tailored to the needs of the individual and held either on a one-to-one basis or with small groups of peers online (min 4 pupils per session, max 6 per session).
I am happy to travel up to 3 miles* from Dorking, Surrey if the pupil feels more comfortable at home. I am DBS checked and hold a full drivers license.
*mileage will be charged for home tutoring.

Holiday School for those who need intense sessions before examinations or for younger pupils wishing to take part in geographical activities.
Termly bulk group Geography lessons for ages 9-14 years who are being home-schooled.

About Me
Hello! My name is Rachel, I have been a teacher for over 16 years with extensive experience as a Head of Department and Senior Leader responsible for teaching and learning. I have also been a Mum for nearly as long!
As a teacher, I have experience in delivering engaging lessons for pupils in a number of contexts ranging from grammar school to mixed mainstream. I am confident in supporting pupils with SEND needs, particularly ADHD, Dyslexia and ASD. I have coached pupils in their UCAS applications who wish to read Geography at university including Oxbridge and Russel Group Universities.
As a parent, I know how children can get lost in the classroom and recognise the difference a little extra support can make to a child’s confidence and final grade.
I pride myself in a bespoke service for pupils at GCSE and A Level and can offer specialist content for children aged 10 - 14 who may not access mainstream education.
